About Our NEDFI Entertainment

The NEDFI Entertainment is a pioneer organization to expose youngsters capacity, their potentialities, a repository with an aim to mobilized talents and cultural activities in Assam and North East India. North East Drama and Film Institute (NEDFI) Enetertainment is a Guwahati based Audio and Video (A/V) production house dealing with various projects related to production of Audio Visuals for creating awareness in different socio economic issues and undertake project under various Government/semi Government agencies/corporate etc.

Children of today are the citizens of tomorrow. Having mentioned so, it is of utmost importance to keep the future guardians free from sufferings, tortures, trouble and pain of any kind. In order to nurture them in a healthy environment it is highly essential to adopt adequate steps and measures to cope with unfortunate events. The need for creating awareness is growing at a fast pace and is seen hugely through films and dramas. NEDFI Entertainment too strives to spread the message of awareness and alertness among the children through short films and dramas.

Through dramas and short films one can replenish the child’s mind by giving him/her the potential to judge the right from the wrong, bad from the good. The line of firmness and determination to goodness should be drawn in their mind for the betterment and upliftment of the society.  NEDFI Entertainment made a film ,”Panchatantra” dedicated to highlight the moral need of the child. This short film was displayed in nook and corner of the rural area. Road show was displayed on Anti Narcotics by the production house. Apart from these, Awareness campaign on need for positive evolution among the youths was also conducted. Our effort to change has made us create a number of films on.

Since our inception we are conducting safety awareness and anti-narcotics programme and we have achieved huge responses in last two years. This year also in line with 27th Road Safety week, we are organizing a short film competition which would be displayed in prime locations of Guwahati City throughout the road safety week.
